What services you could offer to your church members on your site?

Now that you have the graphic template for your church website (you downloaded it from our site free of charge, right?) I bet you think about what to put in your website, right? You know this is a real crisis for writers? White paper fear...brrr....

| Well, I don't blame you at all. A church website is a serious thing, people expect real and valuable information, not just words to read.
OK, let's think together what subjects your church members would like to read on your church site. Let's see...
Church presentation
Prepare a page or two for your church presentation. Here you could speak about your church history, build visitors trust, show pictures of your church, outside and inside. Also you could present your church stuff. Priests and why not, a few important members of your community, this should warm the place, if you know what I mean…

Services that your church offers
Present your daily schedule, Sunday schedule, but also speak about general events, like weddings, funerals, etc. Try to present details, for some people this may be very important. Also put there a short note “For more information, call us!”
Church events
I think that if you also present events that make church members get together you help build a strong community, don’t hesitate to do it.
Pastoral letters
You could keep your church website up to date with fresh content every week. This could take the shape of pastoral letters, advices from your pastor, warm words for those in need, etc.
Prayer request
Think about a prayer request service, where people post their prayer request. Church members may read this and pray for those in need.
Religious newsletter
Keep your members informed with a religious newsletter sent every month. This way even most busy ones remember they have a duty to God and come to church when they will find in their inbox a letter from their pastor…
Christian youth
Never forget the youth! Reserve a space for them on your church site! They may be your most active visitors, they are always up to date with technology!
Contact information
How to get to church (think about people new in town, maybe they are looking for direction), add a map for a better orientation. Add phone numbers, email addresses and why not, pictures and names of those that will answer, this way the contact will be easier!
Well, those are just a few ideas that came to my mind, I am sure you will have many more! Just think about it and ask your friends, your church members, everybody may have a good idea!
