Christian websites(christian website and color schemes)
|
I asked myself how a christian website should look like, what should be the feeling it should transmit to the visitor. A lot of people may think about churches and religious environment as being closed and not very "funny", to use a word that maybe is not that appropiate...OK, but it doesn't have to be like that...Christian websites, in my oppinion should be open, to share an attitude, a christian attitude of happiness, joy.

That is why I would recomend for a christian website a light website template, using light colors, maybe baby blue, light green and white instead of some dark grays, black and brown or any other dar color.
For a christian website, like for any other website, the color scheme should make the first impression in the eyes of the visitor, it should open his heart for convincing him to go on visiting the website.
This is why all our christian website templates here have light color schemes. You will not find here a dark and sad christian website, because we try to transmit a nice feeling and a positive message to the visitor.

Of course that all our christian websites here are following the same privacy policy and YOU HAVE THE RIGHT to customize yourself the template, to change the color scheme the way you want, to add christian text the way you want, pictures of your church and christian members, etc. We encourage you to download a free christian website template and use our template customization services to adapt your template to look the way you want. If the template is for a church but you want it for a christian meeting, we will adapt it for you, if it is for a christian children reunion, trust our designers for the job!
Also, coming back to the message and the feeling that christian websites should transmit, pictures are also very important! We recomend you to use light pictures of angels, children, happy, trusty faces in the index page of the site instead of using the heavy image of your church. You may use such images in the description page, where the visitor expect to see such pictures, but we recomend you not to use them in the first page because they may put a pressing feeling on the visitor. Your christian message should be happiness, trust, joy of living, love for God, etc. Then I am sure that all visitors that will reach your christian website will have a positive feeling about visiting your website and they will spend some time on the site and why not, maybe they will come back again at a later time. |
